The new offices of NBCUniversal – Telemundo-Underground are located on two floors in the NIC Humboldt building, in the Palermo neighborhood, in the Palermo Hollywood sub-district.
An industrial-inspired and contemporary aesthetic was worked on, paying special attention to the choice of materials such as wood and brick, including canvas and metal finishes.
A neutral palette was chosen with some touches of color and the warmth of the wood was used as well as the rusticity of the exposed concrete and rusty metal.
The spaces were distributed in relation to the ways of working: on one level are all the technical areas, which include the post-production and video/audio editing spaces with their respective support areas and meeting spaces.
On the other level, there are private offices and jobs linked to the administrative, as well as a projection room. On this floor are also the common spaces, such as the coffee shop and the expansion towards the terrace balcony.
Natural lighting and the use of biophilia were prioritized with the aim of strengthening the well-being of people in the work environment, while allowing containment and filtering of views in the case of private offices.
